Waiting Games

What looked like the most boring Saturday of the season certainly lived up to billing. Aside from the fact OU didn't play, Homerism didn't see one exciting game. I guess watching LSU come back from down four touchdowns in the third quarter may qualify, although that would be more interesting than exciting. The best played game I watched was probably Cincy-Louisville on Friday night, if that tells you anything.

Maybe Homerism is missing something, but I found no reason to amend my rankings from last week. This isn't a matter of "auto-ranking;" I just found no reason to move any teams up or down. Florida has been impressive lately, but it's tough to ignore that home loss to Ole Miss. USC's loss at Oregon State looks better each week, but the Trojans are in a similar boat to the Gators.
